 Irons, Drivers and Woods

The Golf Centre stocks an assortment of leading brands including Callaway, Ping, Titleist, Tour Edge and TaylorMade.

We cater for the needs of every golfer (and with the amount of different swings and styles on the range that means a large stock!!)   Currently we have over 100 different permutations of club in the shop (and it's still not enough!!)

The irons we sell range from inexpensive starter sets, to the best irons in the world.  Before buying any club it's possible to test it on the range and our price promise guarantees the best prices!!

It is important to remember that the shop has accounts with every major manufacturer and if it's not in stock - we can order it for you!!

Putters

The golf centre carries a large stock of putters from 'face balanced' to traditional blade.  With the putting green only fifty yards away all putters can be tried and experimented with.  Our expert team of pros is also available to offer advice regarding what putter suits a particular stroke - accordingly we stock some pretty way out clubs!!  (Apparently you can't miss with the one pictured below - it's the size of a spade!)

 

Golf Shoes

At the Golf Centre we stock a huge variety of golf shoes - many are guaranteed waterproof.  Footjoy, recognised as the leading manufacturer of golf shoes, makes up the majority of shoes for men and ladies.  A special range of inexpensive but trendy shoes are in stock for the juniors! 

Clothes

At a special buying meeting in September Nick and Lorraine buy clothing for the next season.  Top designers from each major company attend the meeting and suggest what clothes will be in vogue the following year .   This year we are stocking Adidas shirts (ladies and men) and Stromberg and Lobster trousers. 

 Accessories and Balls

The accessories stocked in the shop range in quality from the best balls on the market to tees sold in bulk  (to keep the price down) to personalised markers and pitch mark repairers.  Every conceivable accessory is available!

 

Waterproofs 

Guaranteed waterproofs are essential for a golfer playing in the rain.  Nothing is worse than trudging along with wet trousers and a cold and wet neck.  The waterproofs stocked in the shop (Footjoy and Sunderland) come with a guarantee and have been tried and tested by the staff!

Trolleys (Electric and Pull)

Sturdy aluminium pull trolleys form £39.99 (Masters) up to £99.99 for the latest three wheel Powacaddy (all singing and dancing trolley!!)  are stocked in the shop as well as two types of electric trolley.  Powacaddy  (the most famous electric trolley) used to  make up the bulk of sales but this new electric trolley (Motocaddy - pictured below) is proving very popular and importantly reliable!!  Come in to see how fast the wheels go and how much control you have!

Golf Gloves

The more inexperienced a golfer the more durable the glove needs to be.  For beginner golfers the range sells special durable all weather gloves that (incredibly) do not tear when the club smashes into the mat or wall!!  For the more seasoned golfer requiring 'feel', Footjoy 'SciFlext' Gloves offer the best quality and value for money.

Junior Golf Clubs

Even though Tiger is taking a back seat with regards to promoting junior golf, more and more juniors are turning up at weekends - but no longer do they have to use 'Dad's cut down's'.  Young Guns Clubs and golf equipment is available in the shop for those birthday treats!

Golf Bags

The shop stocks bags with stands, bags specially designed to fit on a trolley, pencil bags for summer,

special ladies bags with dividers to keep shafts in good condition.  Flight covers to protect the bags when travelling are available, as well as rain hoods to keep the bags dry - in fact pretty much every type of bag a golfer could want!!
